She has been passionate about working with children from a very young age, and started volunteering in her freshman year of high school as a biomedical instructor, teaching children from low-income neighborhoods. During her time as a volunteer, she was able to educate through many different health experiments and teach not only what goes on in the body, but why it is important. As she got more involved, she began creating lesson plans to better engage the children. She also just recently started her own children's day camp where she is able to work with children outside of a classroom setting, teaching them important values through different activities that require communication and teamwork.

The Rebecca Everlene Trust Company is a global nonprofit organization that provides virtual sitter and educational opportunities to families with children through the Intellectual Practice Learning and Surviving College Financially programs. It offers students the ability to receive subject specific coaching, virtually, from “Kid Watchers” who are passionate about kids, some of which are high schoolers, professional counselors and teachers.

The Rebecca Everlene Trust Company has also recently expanded it’s services to include the advancement of financial literacy through the People Helping People program and provides assistance to families struggling with infertility through Smitten & Hitch Coparenting.

Founded in September of 2012, these programs evolved from the realization of an overwhelming need to promote the advancement of inventions and publications among young people, who are talented and driven enough to embrace the “11” concept.

The Each Discovery Involves Eleven concept is based on the educational premise that each invention or discovery is the result of acknowledging eleven core ethical principles of effective character education. Because each advancement towards a possibility is subconsciously fueled by the desire for social change, it is our belief that students of this mindset and caliber should not be limited in pursuing their dreams. In recognition of these beliefs, students who are enrolled in Intellectual Practice Learning will also have an opportunity to receive assistance in pursuing their goals of becoming published authors, patented inventors, and young entrepreneurs.

Funding for these initiatives will come from donations made to the Rebecca Everlene Trust Company, the sale and marketing of successful student projects, and subsidized program fees for students who enroll in Intellectual Practice Learning.
